Information submitted through forms
The newsletter form stores your email address and submission time in the WordPress database. The contact form stores your name, email address, message and submission time. Administrators can read and remove these records in the private JEWELLERIX Inbox. Contact notifications use WordPress email and require a tested mail configuration; database receipt does not guarantee email delivery. Newsletter campaigns are not sent automatically by this package.
Saved styles and browser storage
Saved style identifiers, repair shortlists and unfinished review drafts are kept in local storage in this browser. These lists are not sent to the server and do not synchronise across devices. Clearing browser storage deletes them. Review drafts are saved while you type and removed after successful submission; you can also clear them yourself.
Sign-in and public repair reviews
Repair reviews use native WordPress accounts. WordPress stores account details and manages its authentication cookies. A review records the user identifier, public name, rating, text, shop identifier and submission time. Account email addresses and internal identifiers are not displayed publicly. One review per account and workshop may be submitted or updated; every submission waits for moderation before publication. The author can remove a published review. Reviews on fictional sample shops are marked DEMO and do not describe a real business.
Hosting and external destinations
The WordPress installation on your selected host serves the pages, stores form records and reviews in its database, and stores uploaded photographs in the Media Library. This package adds no advertising or analytics trackers. WordPress login uses essential authentication cookies. Retailers, social profiles and Google Maps have their own policies; Maps links can include your search location. Upload only authorised public business or product material.
Choices, retention and requests
Contact and newsletter submissions are optional. Use the contact form to request access, correction, deletion or ending a subscription, with enough information to identify the record. The owner must handle the request. There is no automatic newsletter campaign or unsubscribe-email service connected. Reviewers can resubmit their own review for moderation or remove their published review. Records remain while needed until the owner removes them; no automatic deletion schedule is claimed. Review this policy before adding tracking, email marketing, Google OAuth or commercial partners. Updated 11 October 2026.
