A few things worth knowing
How do I measure ring size at home?
Measure through the centre of a round ring that fits, from inner edge to inner edge. Alternatively, enter the inside circumference. Use millimetres and confirm the fit with your retailer.
Are UK, US and EU results exact equivalents?
They are references from the Monica Vinader retailer chart. EU labels are the retailer’s published sizes, not a calculation of your measured circumference. Different brands and wide bands can fit differently.
What if I am between sizes?
The result flags the two neighbouring UK sizes. Ask the retailer or jeweller about the particular band and available increments before ordering.
Which sizes are covered?
This chart covers UK D to Z+1. Half sizes and other national sizing systems are not inferred or invented.

Choose a round ring that fits the intended finger and measure through the centre between its inner edges. Enter that inside diameter in millimetres under the diameter tab. If you have an inside circumference measurement, select the circumference tab instead. The value should not include the metal band, and diameter must not be entered as circumference.
Understand the nearest-chart result
The finder uses a published Monica Vinader reference chart. It converts circumference to diameter where needed, then selects the closest diameter row and shows the associated UK, US and EU references. For example, an inside diameter of 16.71 mm selects UK M in this chart. That is a chart match, not a promise that every brand's M or converted number will fit identically.
Check uncertainty before buying
A distorted sample ring, imprecise ruler or incorrect unit can change the result. If using a printed guide, check the maker's calibration mark and print scale. Band width, inside shape and a stack of rings can affect the final feel. Compare the reference with the actual retailer's instructions and ask for a fitting when the choice is important or unclear.
Use copy and reset deliberately
Change one measurement at a time to compare the result, then copy the reference with its original measurement. Reset returns the tool to its starting example. The supported chart covers a limited range; a value outside it should not be treated as a size recommendation. For a surprise gift, confirm the intended finger and exchange or resizing terms before ordering or personalising.
